We are a group of deaf artists who banded together in 2022 and went on a self-funded residency in September that year. This led to our eponymous exhibition, DARE:001, a group show hosted at 3 Tates Pl. that ran for three days in January 2023. Since then, we’ve ran three more residencies and exhibitions—DARE:Flow Festival (2023), DARE:Disrupt (2025) and DARE:BIGBABA (2026)—with ambitions to scale beyond the founding artists.
