The artwork titled "What's above the ceiling?" 2023, indicates the artist touching on political and economic themes the Deaf community are facing in contemporary culture. That often impacts the deaf individuals' confidences and self-esteem. Out there in the employment environment, the people who works around us often make uneducated assumptions about the limitation Deaf people face - assuming that communication will always be problematic. We want to remove this type of behavior. The artwork allows us to experience the ceiling in the real space whether it is small or large.
